Yes he would. He will be a gun - especially on the expanses of your ground. Fast & tough, can play on talls & smalls, just needs to improve his kicking. Unfortunately we are not going to get anything of value having to trade him this year. This time next year and we would be getting a very early 2nd rounder for him.

Whoever gets him is in for a nice surprise- at a low cost (unfortunately).

I think Buckley will be happy to take Zac Dawson in exchange as a short-term option. They're going to lose Frost, Marsh and Brown this year so he'll want proven AFL reinforcements. Alex Silvagni is also an option.

He's done 2 iirc, a bad one in the last VFL match of 2015, and another one this year, wasn't out for long though.

Won't be a best 22 player for us of everyone is fit. Pearce and Johnson are both better and we already have Collins who we don't have to give anything up for. Marsh is probably our most likely PSD target if/when Hamling re-signs.

If Freo could get him I'd think that'd be a decent pick up with everyone else. Kerstan, McCarthy, Hamling (pending), Hill and Marsh. Building a fairly strong group of young players with Weller and Blakely as well.

Alex Pearce is better, don't kid yourself. Marsh has had a few good games but you can't expect a top 30 pick for a guy thats played a handful of good games and was drafted at pick 77. Doesn't work that way no matter how highly some of you may rate him.

Seem to vaguely remember somebody on your board saying that marshes hammies weren't so flash and had really bad scarring on his legs. It may of being freeman as well memory is hazy. Good player marsh is but

Really liked what I saw with Marsh this year. Collingwood will be very disappointed in losing him. Hard to value him as he was such a late pick.
