Walters was the biggest disappointment today , he just needs to stop the acting and just play the ball .
Thought Treacy was a good link up player and will only get better.
Out = Meek
In = Shultz

Hughes was awful today. Awful. Cost us 3 goals. feel like he’s got a couple passes tho.
Colyer turned it on after a bad start, so he survives.

out - Watson & Giro
In - Logue Shultz

won’t be surprised if Hughes made way tho.

Why Drop Meek? Him being there allowed Darcy to go forward like he did.
Unless Lobb comes in, or it’s wet as, meek stays

In: Logue, Shultz, Crowden
Out: Hughes, Watson, Colyer

A little rough on Colyer as he had a couple of very good moments. But we know his body of work over time, and Crowden will deliver more going forward.

I'm serious, someone needs to take Watson to an optometrist and test his depth perception. I have never seen an AFL level footballer under no pressure run under the flight of the ball as much as he does.
Out Watson, Hughes, Giro
In Logue, Duman, Schultz
Sturt to sub

Yeah Hughes caused a few direct goals, but he was also put under a lot of pressure in the middle of the ground and he went even in a lot of those contests. That Treacy handball to him in the 4th was diabolical and not his fault. Our hardest player on the field won't get dropped.
Plus the 3 oobotf last week. Enough. Logue for Hughes. There isn't anything Hughes can do that Logue can't do better. I would play the more composed Watson before Hughes even.

Yeah but Pearce and Hamling weren’t injured before Rd 1.

Duman does not, in any way, shape or imagination, compensate for the loss of Pearce and Hamling. Neither does Crowden, but he adds hardness and creativity at the attacking end of the field. Will allow Aish for instance to slide back to defence and take a less effective player off the paddock (in this case Watson).

In that second and third quarter our defenders suddenly started to feel pressure and make silly errors WITH the ball. It was like an epidemic. We really need to remove the weaker links there. In this game they were Hughes and Watson.
