= Banfield in for Corbett
Not a massive Banfield fan but that is a very reasonable selection. Banfield does have the size to play the third tall and it will not be hard to play it better than Corbett.

Don’t see Tabs playing this year due to the length of his injury lay-off. But Tabs playing in the WAFL finals will make the supporters of other teams loss their sh1t which will be equally enjoyable.

So tabs turns back the clock like he did in 2016 or 2017 when Peel won a flag?

Quite possibly and then the reaction from the media will be similar to back then, more calls for a review of this travesty to the competition.
Well peel won the flag in 2016 with 17 players out of 21 being dockers players.

Dockers won again in 2017 with 14 dockers out of 21. One of 14 dockers was Zac Dawson.

Why bother with Banfield..we know what he is. He’s fine. Surely use these opportunities to try out others and see what we have/don’t have in the larder. How often do you get a real AFL game to try out your wares? Tom Emmett comes to mind.
Tom Emmett can get a game when he cleans up his kicking in front of goals.

Yep, I’d be more inclined to give Reidy a go, to decide if he’s worth persisting with or delist material.
If Sturt is injured then Banfield gets a run.
Out: Sturt, Corbett
In: Banfield, Reidy
That would be in line with JLo’s comments about rewarding Peel form.

Despite Banfield kicking 4 goals in the WAFL on the weekend, does he get in this week?

You can make an argument Banfield and Sam Sturt are fighting for that one spot in a Forward flank.

There is no way in hell you would replace Bailey Banfield for Sam Sturt. No chance.

You can make a case of Sam Sturt in the starting 18 and Banfield starts on the bench.

If Sturt doesn’t get up, that may keep Corbett in the team as we’ll be 2 medium talls down if they are both omitted.

Out: Sturt
In: Erasmus

Banners as the sub

If Sturt is good to play then you drop Corbett instead.

JL was talking about how much the peel gf winners valued their time at peel finals back in 16,17

Hoping this means he is dropping Erasmus to the wafl and qualifying him for finals

Needs all the game time he can get and has been a net negative for the AFL side recently, let him find some form in the wafl

You know what changes I'd like to see?

People nominating for dub buddies!

2023 AFLW Buddy Draft nominations now open. Do yourself a favour.

If you watched the game against Claremont Banners did more than kick 4 goals. Should of had 5 as one was a missed gimme, and the other miss was gettable.

He had few other direct goal involvements where he handpassed or with kicks into forward entry that were marked and goaled from.

Ran through the middle and seemed to also help out down back.

Recently seemed to have upped the aggression a bit. Got in a scuffle and seemed more physical. Think this has been instructed by coaching on something he prob had to work on

Would like see banners play hhf and not third tall. So would leave Corbett in and banners in for Walters. If mids can get the ball in quick, banners will run havoc

Prior to his injury against the pies he seemed to be playing higher up. Had decent game considering the team got belted

Agree with everything Footskills said about Banna's but must say Emmett's game was better on replay than I noticed live. Just his goal kicking sometimes really and occasionally field kicking.

Generous, his kicking is not up to scratch which is annoying because I love everything else about his game. He'll get people loving him the way he hits the ball and get people potting him when he turns it over or missed a target by 10 metres
