No we don’t name it yet, that’s highlighting he was the sub last gameNo, Schoenberg named as sub.
They said on channel 7 news Schoenberg will be the sub.No we don’t name it yet, that’s highlighting he was the sub last game
Pretty even, maybe Rankine ahead of Parnell as a one on one.How do you reckon you guys are going to line up in the backline?
Rankine - Parnell
Ainsworth - Hamill
Holman - Smith
Jeffrey - Doedee
Chol - Murray
Casboult - Butts
Hmmm... got a horrible feeling we're about to drop Hinge so that Dawson can stay down back
Making Brown come back via reserves is a positive
Yep heard thatThey said on channel 7 news Schoenberg will be the sub.
Not sure who Rowey was talking to tonight but they said 1week and maybe 2 out. hey must rate him very highly as why would you recruit an injured rookie player.Mick Godden on Kymbo and Rooch tonight....Turner out for another week in the SANFL it seems.
Talks about AFL selection etc.
You’ve forgotten Dawson. How do you reckon you guys are going to line up in the backline?

Midfield too stacked for Jordy to get a run in there. You’ve forgotten Dawson.
He’s our no 1 defender apparently.
Well there is thatThey said on channel 7 news Schoenberg will be the sub.
That’s 1 game in 2 years…Yes. However, if he can play consistent, complete games like the single one he managed earlier this year, then he might earn an appearance.
The obvious move was Butts into the backline for Dawson, with Dawson moving further up the fieldWe were too small last week, and Butts for either Hinge or Hamill was the obvious move.
Do you think any of the coaches would have suggested this? The obvious move was Butts into the backline for Dawson, with Dawson moving further up the field
Every team we play against would be delighted to see Dawson line up down back
Tragically noDo you think any of the coaches would have suggested this?
It's clear to me now that Nicks' selections (Crouch in, Hinge out, Dawson back AGAIN), like his game "plan", are part of his loss-minimisation strategy which is more about saving his own neck than developing the side.I've been pretty loyal to Nicks & co but this selection shits me as it's clearly not based on any football evidence. Crouch is easily the most ineffectual player in our team. Furthermore, if looking to the future, it's abysmal for development.
I'm off to open another bottle now... Spilt most of the first one when I read the final teams.
Remember all the preseason talk from the club and Dawson about playing midfield? I also wonder what our sell job to Dawson was, we will play you as a defender or mid?Tragically no
Feel like they're all singing from the same hymn sheet. Not a lot of friction down there.
He's listed as an OUT on the SANFL side, so looks like it.They said on channel 7 news Schoenberg will be the sub.
He's 5th in the league for marks per game, 8th for kicks and 6th for metres gained per game, I don't think there's any team who's happy to see him anywhere on the field. He causes trouble, especially down back and teams have to counter him, especially if he starts getting off the chain. The obvious move was Butts into the backline for Dawson, with Dawson moving further up the field

It's the first time he's been dropped without being injured since he's been at the club.So whats the deal with Hinge? Seems to get dropped at every opportunity. Below average in most stats but rated highly by fans.

If he was getting those stats as an attacking wingman, I'm sure teams would be a lot more concerned, getting them in D50, not so muchHe's 5th in the league for marks per game, 8th for kicks and 6th for metres gained per game, I don't think there's any team who's happy to see him anywhere on the field. Reckon he’d cause teams lots of trouble delivering to our forwards and kicking the odd goalHe's 5th in the league for marks per game, 8th for kicks and 6th for metres gained per game, I don't think there's any team who's happy to see him anywhere on the field. Starting scoring chains from the back half can be a huge source of points, it's how we scored heavily in 2016-17. To pretend teams are less concerned with Dawson when he's in the back half of the field when they have clearly made efforts to man him up because of the damage he's causing is silly. If he was getting those stats as an attacking wingman, I'm sure teams would be a lot more concerned, getting them in D50, not so much
He's 4th at the club for I50's for us.Reckon he’d cause teams lots of trouble delivering to our forwards and kicking the odd goal
