Brisbane has beaten hawks twice this year. Apart from last week they have been flying. This will be our toughest game on the run home.

I reckon Adelaide in AO is harder.

Current ladder suggests we must win all remaining games to get into the finals.... they are all ‘finals’ from now on. Will take a lot of commitment from here. Regardless, very proud of what we’ve achieved. Seems like we’re going to have to accept a ‘Safe’ selection policy from here on in unless we drop one and then probably some list experimentation. / early surgeries.

Was severely rankled though one finds one's peace in not being set astir by anything more than one necessary change.

McDonald costs us though. Every week he thinks he has an extra second. And/Or shanks a kick. Can see team mates don't trust him with the ball. Or handballs to someone hotter than him ( although not alone in this). I think the players have to lift him. He is a natural footballer that would dominate in all country and suburban teams. Maybe too much system hurts his brain. Must keep playing him. Contract wise, he is looking at an offer that the 12-15 th player would get. Sure he would not be happy. Good source of tension in a club. Hope not. May be more suited to a team where the coach let's the players run the team more.

as anyone who has tinkered with the Ladder predictor will know/
it is quite possible for us to finish right in the middle of the 8
Have to win this week no doubt but last week was good and we will soon see if we have turned the corner..
If W8 can play out the rest of the season happy to let him go round again expecting another 8-10 games out of him
as for this week yeah wld be OK with LDU

Think we won a dead rubber v Port over there early in Scott's reign but overall our record has been appalling there post Pagan.

The good news is that we’ve reached the stage that we know that if we get spanked by Adelaide (or by Lions), then we we have no right be be in the eight anyway. So, it’s a case of just sitting back and watching the show.

I expect we’ll need Ziebell to do some crunching in the middle, since Higgins is out. W8 being back helps that. I know we don’t like Z in the guts anymore. However, Higgins is a huge out for our midfield.
