Steele was best 22 before he got injured. He played 17 games in his first two seasons, pretty promising in a team with a very deep midfield. GWS wanted to keep him, I'm sure they'd prefer him over a pick around 30.

Saints have probably done the best at acquiring GWS players over the years - getting good ones cheaply which fill a need and will be best 22.
